Trip to the victoria & albert museum (sunday 5th april 2015) - FOCUS: THE MUGHAL EMPIRE & TIPU SULTAN OF SERINGAPATAM

Focus: The Mughal Empire & Tipu sultan of seringapatam

a. Teachers will be volunteering for this trip but this time we will accommodate pupils on Levels 4, 5 & 6
b. FREE – There is no Fees for this Trip
c. This will be an educational trip focusing on the Mughal Empire; Tipu Sultan of Seringapatam (Kingdom of Mysore); the Ardabil Carpet (William Morris – Safavids) – the theme will be based around ‘Colonialism’ and lastly the ‘Islamic Middle East’
d. The Students and parents will have a guided tour by Ustadh Hamid and Ustadh Yahya and there will be activities to do.
e. We will – insha’Allah – be performing Dhuhr Salah at the Museum
f. Timings: We will gather outside Frederick Bremer School for 9:00am and leave for the Museum by 9:15am and we aim to be back by 3:30pm insha’Allah – we will travel by train, so students are advised to bring their Oyster Cards
g. Parents and families who would like to join are more than welcome, we can either meet at the school for 9:00am  or at the Museum for 10:00am
h. Please provide your children with Pocket Money and Packed Lunch 
i. Please fill in the Trip Form attached and return by Sunday 22nd of March
