Build Your Mosque Project
The purpose of this project is to give the keys of the future into the hands of those who will bring change for the better - insha-Allah. The theory aspect of this project will get our students to think deeply, responsibly and creatively about the Mosques of the present and the future. They will explore the history of this sacred space and how Muslims have built Mosques in the past from the most simplest to the most grandeur Mosques in the world. They will then think about the MOsques of the future and if they were given the resources and leadership to build a Mosque what they would include in the Masajid and how they will look.
After drafting their plans, they will then spend two days with professionals at the 'Blackhorse Workshop' building their Mosques using wood and other materials.
The Blackhorse Workshop have helped us by giving us subsidised prices per student.
There are only 15 places available for this project and for students aged between 8 - 16 years.
To avoid disappointment please sign up as soon as possible and make the payments below.
